Hello,

Got the course a few days ago and been watching it over the Easter break, about half way through or so.

Just got the Material-Specific-Welder-Settings.pdf downloaded (The sheets with all the base settings you should print out and have next to your welder) as it came up in the course, and I noticed it mentions Pulse on the PDF but does not give the information that was provided verbally in the course, about changing the amperage to adjust for pulse being enabled.

I cant remember off the top of my head as I type this, but it was like 25% or something if you are doing 50% duty cycle on the pulse, or something like that.

Can the PDF be updated to reflect these too, so if we are using pulse, and mild steel for example, and you do your 40A/mm current, then you know 50% duty will mean the 40A actually needs to be xxx Amps, and the low pulse needs to be xxx Amps, etc?

Is it possible to have this added?

Thanks

Hi James, good point, ill have to jump back in and have a look, this is a variable though and is setup differently on different welders so it may not suit everyone and I think thats why we didnt add it. The duty cycle is one thing but the upper and lower amperage amount have a lot to do with it too.
