I thought I'd share my welding table that I built from scrap lying around the shed, I was inspired to do this after having completed the first course.
The only things I purchased where the casters and the counter sunk bolts for the top, I've used it for several projects now and wonder how I did without it!
Thanks again Nigel for your efforts and can't wait for the next course.
Cheers, Gareth.
Good job.
A little hint for you if you want people to admire your handywork it might be much better you don't have the WB and bike in the shot. I have a soft spot for WBs.
Looks good - you may wish to drill and tap some holes, for bolting down jigs/fixtures, etc.
Thanks for the replys,
I'm planning a couple of upgrades to the bench - A draw for tig spares, gloves, etc.. A hook for my welding helmet, a hook for the grinder and a small removable vise.
Having everything ready to use and ergonomic sure makes me more motivated to get stuck in to my projects!!
Cheers.
Spot on Gareth I am sorry I didn't see this sooner, lovely table and I bet it will keep you busy for a while!
